Description
Scope:
Those gaining this qualification will be able to acquire the skills and knowledge needed for a career in the Electricity Supply Industry. The scope of this qualification covers:
Transmission overhead powerline industry such as erection of towers, poles, structures and associated hardware including the installation and maintenance of conductors and cables. Inspection procedures for overhead structures and electrical apparatus are also included.
